Brewing whole bean coffee starts with grinding your dark roast beans just before brewing to preserve freshness, aroma, and flavor. Use a burr grinder for the most consistent grind, adjusting the coarseness to match your brew method; coarse for French Press, medium for drip, and fine for espresso. Measure about 1–2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee per 6 ounces of water, and heat water to 195–205°F. Brewing with freshly ground beans unlocks richer flavor, brighter notes, and a more aromatic cup that showcases the coffee at its best.

    Love the Dark Roast Beans!

    We love the dark.roast whole beans. The taste is consistent with every bag. We make a pot every morning before going to work put it in our carafe and enjoy every drop! Weekends we take it outside.

    We love the smell of the beans grinding. The taste is smooth and never bitter (even when my husband gets heavy handed with the scoops!). Only problem, we keep running out before our next order is delivered. We are adding a couple of additional bags to our next order to fix that problem!!!!!

    A good dark roast

    I really like this dark roast. I am a Medium Roast person, as some dark roasts just taste burnt. This one is really good and I often mix it in with my medium or light roasts for a little extra punch.

    Different from my usual

    I'm usually a light or medium roast drinker but wanted to try something new. I really enjoy the dark roast. Its dark but also still smooth, not bitter.
